A Banner Day
New Healey Banners Can Spice Up Your Garage
It has been many years since an Austin-Healey was built, but new and desirable Healey-related products still arise on a regular basis. Chicago-based entrepreneur Bill Simon has joined the fray with some eye-catching banners.
According to Bill, "I have been a professional retoucher for the printing industry for nearly 30 years. Last year I was laid off from my job and I wanted to find a way to turn my passion of working with images into a business." He focused on banners because they are "an inexpensive way to decorate your garage or man cave. They are easy to ship and are very durable."
Bill makes banners featuring better known brands such as Buick and Corvette. He added Healeys to the mix when "one of my customers asked me if I would do an Austin-Healey banner for him. To be honest, I had never heard of Austin-Healey cars until this customer requested a banner. As I was working on his banner, I started to do research on Austin-Healey cars and fell in love with them. After I posted the first Healey banner — a Sprite — I started getting all kinds of inquires."
The banners measure 2 feet x 4 feet and they sell for $40. The full range o f available banners can be found at: https://www.alterimagebanners.com
